Abstract
⺠Methacrylate based copolymers grafted with diethylene triamine as Cr(VI) sorbents. ⺠Chemisorption and pore diffusion are characteristics of this sorption system. ⺠Langmuir isotherm provided best fit and maximum adsorption capacity was 143 mg gâ1. ⺠Cr(VI) sorption onto amino-functionalized copolymer was endothermic and spontaneous. ⺠A simple, efficient and cost-effective hexavalent chromium removal method.
