Abstract
⺠The ability of newly isolated laccase producing ascomycete, Paraconiothyrium variabile, for removal of chlorophenolic derivatives was investigated. ⺠The best condition for removal of para-chlorophenol was determined. ⺠The role of extracellular laccase in this removal was also studied.
