Abstract
⺠Metal stress alleviation in wheat supplemented with amorphous Si (ASi). ⺠Pot experiment with a metal-contaminated soil and increased doses of ASi. ⺠Effects are observed both at the soil and the plant levels. ⺠ASi increases plant biomass and Cd content in roots and decreases Cd in shoots. ⺠ASi decreases soil-available Cd but is limiting for Si uptake.
