Abstract
⺠We obtain a Cr(III) solution for tanning from a Cr(VI) bath from metal plating. ⺠We remove divalent metals from the exhausted bath by neutralization with NaOH. ⺠We reduce Cr(VI) to Cr(III) with Na2SO3 in acidic conditions. ⺠Sustainable method: quantity of wastes reduced and no final evaporation of solution.
