Abstract
⺠ASR was added to the usual waste feed (RDF and sludge) of a full scale FBC. ⺠Comparison of fingerprints confirmed that PCDD/Fs in waste mix are destroyed during combustion. ⺠PCDD/Fs found in fly ash, FGCR and flue gas are newly formed by de novo synthesis. ⺠Addition of ASR increased the Cu-concentration in the fly ash and FGCR. ⺠The total PCDD/F output (in TEQ) did not increase significantly when ASR was co-incinerated.
