Abstract
► Coordinated ionic liquid was firstly prepared by organic solvent and inorganic metal chloride. ► C5H9NO·SnCl2 showed high extraction desulfurization ability and low solubility for real diesel. ► The extraction desulfurization mechanism and influencing factors were investigated. ► The kinetics was establishes and apparent activation energy was found to be 32.5 kJ/mol.
