Abstract
⺠Bracken is an invasive, poisonous weed distributed worldwide. ⺠Bracken-eating human populations show increased cancer risk. ⺠Ptaquiloside (PTA) is a highly water-soluble bracken carcinogen. ⺠PTA residues are present in non-mains water and contaminated milk or meat.
