Abstract
⺠Mercury concentrations in caged fish were closely related to Hg concentrations in fish feeds. ⺠The trophic transfer factor of methylmercury was dependent on fish feeds, and was the highest for fish fed on pellet feeds. ⺠Fish farming may be a good way of reducing the human exposure to Hg because Hg levels can be carefully controlled.
