Abstract
► As(III) can be easily oxidised to As(V) by electrolysis with DSA and CDA electrodes. ► The oxidation is reversible; then, the conversion is only complete in divided cells. ► Chlorides or sulphates affects the results due to the formation of oxidants. ► The process is very efficient in divided cells working at low current densities.
