Abstract
⺠We prepare ALR-AE resin from Arundo donax L. reed by the amination reaction. ⺠We validate the competitive adsorption properties of the resin for various anions. ⺠We use this resin in three actual water samples. ⺠We validate the ion exchange mechanism by Raman, zeta potential and FTIR spectra. ⺠We use the hydrophyte based product for the treatment of water eutrophication.
