Abstract
⺠CdS nanocrystals were grown onto a thiolated silica. ⺠UV/vis and photoluminescence spectra depended on the matrix/Cd2+ proportion. ⺠Spectra reflected variations in crystallite size. ⺠Samples photocalyzed decolorization of dyes.
