Abstract
► Electrodialytic remediation (EDR) of two different soil fractions was compared. ► The optimal condition for EDR was investigated. ► The highest removal of heavy metals was obtained from the soil fines. ► Fast acidification during EDR process would impede the remediation. ► Delicate balancing of parameters must be maintained for efficient removal.
