Abstract
⺠Dissolution and transport of coal tar compounds in fractured clay-rich residuum. ⺠Initially most compounds rapidly dissolved and were transported through fractures. ⺠Final compound concentrations did not rise to aqueous solubility levels. ⺠After 377 days compounds were found diffused into fine-grained matrix. ⺠Fine pore structure did not inhibit dissolution and transport of coal tar compounds.
