Abstract
⺠Biochemical effects on carp growth by 2,4-DNT exposure were quantified. ⺠Enzyme expression, energy reserves, and morphological indices can reflect the molecular targets of 2,4-DNT. ⺠Identify a trade-off between metabolic cost of toxicant exposure and processes vital to the survival of carp.
