Abstract
⺠A new bioassay was optimized to evaluate the toxicity of Aconitum herbs. ⺠Characterizing total toxicity is its unique advantage over chemical analysis methods. ⺠The application of this bioassay promotes the safe use of Aconitum herbs in clinic.
