Abstract
⺠We measured PFCs concentrations in influent, effluent, and sludge in WWTPs. ⺠PFCs were greater in industrial wastewater than in domestic wastewater. ⺠Total WWTP-derived national discharge loads were calculated as 0.04-0.61 ton/year for individual PFCs. ⺠63% of perfluorooctanoate from domestic wastewater, and 75% of perfluorooctanesulfonate from industrial wastewater.
