Abstract
⺠Graphene oxide was prepared by a simple route from the modified Hummers method. ⺠The adsorption property of graphene oxide improved the loading efficiency for 4-nitrophenol. ⺠The reduction current of 4-nitrophenol increased greatly on graphene oxide-based electrode. ⺠The possible mechanism of 4-nitrophenol reduction was proposed. ⺠Kinetic and experimental parameters of 4-nitrophenol reduction were investigated.
