Abstract

âº A new energetic compound Cu(Mtta)2(NO3)2 has been synthesized and structural characterized. âº Sensitivity tests reveal that the compound is insensitive to mechanical stimuli. âº Cu(Mtta)2(NO3)2 accelerates the decomposition of Ammonium perchlorate (AP), which is the key component of composite solid propellant.
