Abstract
⺠Slag sample preparation affects the contaminant leachability. ⺠Greater release of Cu, Co and Zn from samples with higher portion of dust particles. ⺠The leaching behaviour of copper smelter slag is strongly pH-dependent. ⺠Risk of metal mobilisation from slag particles in acidic soils near smelters.
