Abstract
⺠We report the decomposition mechanism of dimethylhexane-1,6-dicarbamate (HDC). ⺠The process can be divided into three stages, and CO2 and CH3OH are the main gases. ⺠The first stage is the reaction for HDC to dimethylhexane-1,6-diisocyanate (HDI). ⺠We study the non-isothermal kinetics for the reaction of the first stage. ⺠The results play a guiding role in reactor design and process scale-up.
