Abstract
⺠Carbon-silica aerogel (CSA) composites were used to remove VOCs for the first time. ⺠CSA composites were synthesized via sol-gel processing and ambient pressure drying. ⺠CSA composites exhibit excellent adsorption and desorption performance for VOCs.
