Abstract
► Poly(aminopropyl/methyl)silsesquioxane was synthesized by a one-step hydrolytic co-condensation process. ► It was found to be an efficient adsorbent of Cu(II) and Pb(II) ions. ► Kinetics of adsorption better fit of pseudo-second-order model. ► The adsorption follows Langmuir isotherm. ► Adsorption mechanism involves primarily metal ions complexation by the amino groups.
