Abstract
⺠Amphiphilic PHCSs were synthesized from yeast cells. ⺠The sorption isotherm was practically linear even at extreme high concentrations. ⺠PHCSs exhibit fast sorption kinetic and facile regeneration property. ⺠PHCSs are potential effective sorbents, especially at high concentrations.
