Abstract
⺠We assessed SBR performances to treat synthetic wastewater containing Hg2+ and Cd2+. ⺠SBR was able to remove 76-90% of Hg2+ and 96-98% of Cd2+. ⺠COD removal efficiency and MLVSS was affected by Hg2+ and Cd2+ concentrations. ⺠Removal was not only biological process but also by biosorption process of sludge.
