Abstract
- Max removal efficiencies of the reactor for both ammonia and phosphate were 99%.
- Corresponding efficiencies under actual wastewater conditions were 98%.
- Optimum removal conditions were neutral pH and current density of 3Â A.
- Lower influent concentration and higher detention time favored removal efficiency.
- Besides ammonia and phosphate, Al3+ plate enables removal of nitrite and nitrate.
