Abstract
- Sorption of PAHs by using five electrospun nanofibrous membranes (ENFMs).
- All sorption processes achieve very fast and reach equilibrium after 3Â h.
- Sorption capacities of ENFMs are affected by their surface area, hydrophobicity and pore volume.
- Sorption mechanisms include pore-filling, hydrophobic, hydrogen bonding and Ï-Ï bonding interaction.
