Abstract
⺠Compared to single BTF, the UV-BTF could treat much higher concentration of α-pinene. ⺠UV-BTF possessed higher CO2 productions without any second pollution caused by UV. ⺠UV-BTF possessed shorter recovery times than the single BTF after re-start operation. ⺠Photodegradation products affected the microbial communities in the subsequent BTF.
