Abstract
⺠This study explored the long-term behavior and fate of metals in landfill leachate. ⺠The results showed that the behavior of Al, Cu, Pb, As, Fe and Zn differed in aerobic and anaerobic conditions. ⺠Greater concentrations of Al, Cu, and Pb were found in the aerobic lysimeters. ⺠As, Fe and Zn were leached at greater concentrations in the anaerobic lysimeters.
