Abstract
⺠Polymerizations can be hazardous complex processes difficult to be safely optimized. ⺠We used a topological criterion to safely optimize an emulsion homopolymerization. ⺠The procedure was validated through experiments on vinyl acetate homopolymerization. ⺠The reported approach can be generalized to other complex hazardous reacting systems.
