Abstract
► Simultaneous removal of H2S and CH3SH was achieved at electro-reactor. ► Active catalyst Ag(II) perpetually regenerated in HNO3 medium by electrochemical cell. ► CH3SH destruction follows two reaction pathways. ► H2S induced destruction of CH3SH has identified. ► Low concentration of active Ag(II) (12.5 × 10−4 mol L−1) is enough for complete destruction.
