Abstract
⺠Some heavy metal concentrations in wheat grain were dependent on soil parameters. ⺠We found evidence of atmospheric metal incorporation from pollution sources. ⺠The mean Cr, Cu, Fe, Mn and Zn concentrations surpassed limits for foodstuffs. ⺠Argentinean and potential wheat consumers may experience non-carcinogenic risks. ⺠The risks were higher when grains were grown near cities or metallurgical industries.
