Abstract
⺠Removal of perchlorate in Fe0-only and Fe0/UV reactions under oxic and anoxic conditions. ⺠Oxic conditions are essential for efficient removal of perchlorate in Fe0-only reaction. ⺠Perchlorate removal was achieved by adsorption/co-precipitation reactions onto iron oxides. ⺠Fe0/UV reactions under oxic conditions produce OH radicals which inhibit the removal of perchlorate.
