Abstract
⺠The iron-loaded tannin gel (FeOxTG) is prepared from an inexpensive natural polymer. ⺠Loading iron into the gel results in the increase in the phosphate adsorption amount. ⺠Oxidation of the gel leads to the increase of the iron amount loaded into the gel. ⺠The phosphate adsorption isotherm for the FeOxTG follows the Freundlich equation.
