Abstract
⺠We investigate the zero valent iron induced oxidation in the presence of magnetic field. ⺠The oxidative degradation of 4-chlorophenol is enhanced by the magnetic field. ⺠ESR measurement confirms that more OH radicals are generated in the presence of magnetic field. ⺠The magnetic field affects the mass transfer of O2 and the recombination of radicals.
