Abstract
ⶠDTPA-modified silica gel and chitosan were effective adsorbents for Co(II). ⶠRemoval of Co(II) was possible in the presence of EDTA, oxalate, and iron. ⶠCapture of Co(II) from its aqueous chelate was confirmed. ⶠKinetic and isotherms models were used to support experimental findings.
