Abstract
⺠LY459477 is a selective agonist for mGlu2 and mGlu3 receptors. ⺠There is no binding of [3H]LY459477 in mice without both mGlu2 and mGlu3 receptors. ⺠In mGlu3â/â mice, [3H]LY459477 binds in same brain areas as mGlu2 receptor antibodies. ⺠In mGlu2â/â mice, [3H]LY459477 binds in same brain areas as mGlu3 receptor antibodies. ⺠mGlu2 receptors are distributed in brain areas associated with psychosis and anxiety.
