Abstract
⺠First description of LY541850 on native mGlu2/3 receptors. ⺠LY541850 is an orthosteric mGlu2 agonist and mGlu3 antagonist. ⺠Both mGlu2 and mGlu3 receptors inhibit hippocampal synapses. ⺠LY541850 mimics the action of mixed mGlu2/3 agonists in models of schizophrenia.
