⺠Atomoxetine attenuates spontaneous firing rate of locus coeruleus neurons in vivo. ⺠Atomoxetine increases the phasic:tonic ratio of locus coeruleus response to stimuli. ⺠Atomoxetine modulates the average evoked field response in locus coeruleus. ⺠Atomoxetine modulates spike-field and cortical EEG-field coherence in locus coeruleus.
