Abstract
⺠Brain mapping of Fos expression in combination with behavioral tests was performed in SHR. ⺠SHR showed hyperactivity as compared with WKY. ⺠Fos expression was region-specifically elevated in the SHR accumbens. ⺠SCH-23390 reversed behavioral hyperactivity of SHR. ⺠SCH-23390 also attenuated the elevated Fos expression in the SHR accumbens.
