Abstract
⺠Abnormal movements developed to a similar extent in wildtype and α6(â/â) mice. ⺠Abnormal movements declined in α6(â/â) mice with continued l-dopa treatment. ⺠α6β2* nAChRs play a critical role in the maintenance of l-dopa-induced dyskinesias. ⺠α6β2* nAChR drugs may be useful in the treatment of dyskinesias.
