Abstract
► We provide evidence that the activity of ASICs is modulated by inflammatory mediator 5-HT. ► ASIC and 5-HT2 receptor have a “cross-talk” via PKC pathway. ► The activation of 5-HT2 receptors contributed to acid- mediated pain.
