Abstract
⺠Olanzapine causes hyperglycemia and insulin resistance in adult female rats. ⺠Effects remain stable over 11 weeks in rats treated with drug for 5 days per week. ⺠The effects show sensitization in rats treated only once per week with olanzapine.
