Abstract
⺠Haloperidol-induced movement disturbances are related to neuronal degeneration. ⺠Exercise prevented motor disorders and reduced oxidative damages in brain regions. ⺠Separately, both haloperidol and exercise increased the striatal DA uptake. ⺠Exercise plus haloperidol reduced the striatal DA uptake. ⺠Exercise modulates DA uptake improving motor disorders related to neurodegeneration.
