Abstract
⺠We have demonstrated an antiviral effect in the hemolymph of Lonomia obliqua caterpillars. ⺠We have observed that this recombinant protein has a potent antiviral action. ⺠This protein was performed in a baculovirus/Sf-9 system. ⺠The recombinant protein was able to reduce the picornavirus by at least 4 logs.
