Abstract

âº Adenylate cyclase toxoid (CyaA-E5) is used to deliver influenza (IAV) HA2 to APCs. âº CyaA-E5-HA2 specifically targets and penetrates CD11b-expressing dendritic cells. âº This immunogen primes HA293-102, HA296-104 and HA2170-178-specific T-cell response. âº CyaA-E5-HA2 elicits also broadly cross-reactive HA2-specific antibody response. âº CyaA-E5-HA2 immunization of mice is cross-protective against lethal IAV infection.
