Abstract
⺠We demonstrated the virucidal activity of NVC-422 against adenovirus type 5. ⺠In vitro assays show that NVC-422 has a good therapeutic index. ⺠The virucidal activity of NVC-422 is rapid with complete inactivation of Ad5 within 15 min. ⺠The virucidal activity of NVC-422 is due to its reacting with key viral proteins.
