Abstract
⺠We developed small interfering RNAs (siRNA) targeted to the TBE virus genome. ⺠siRNAs reduce the quantity of TBE virus particles, genome, and protein up to 85%. ⺠The 50% inhibitory dose of the shRNA plasmid was 0.05 μg/ml. ⺠RNA interference could become valuable tool for controlling TBE virus infections.
