Abstract
⺠Tenofovir/IQP-0528 microbicide combination gels were tested for safety and efficacy. ⺠Polarized ectocervical and colorectal tissues were used to evaluate these gels. ⺠Combination gels were safe toward mucosal tissue and blocked HIV infection. ⺠These gels provide the foundation of a dual compartment, combination product microbicide.
