Abstract
⺠Muscular strength phenotypes and muscle mass show moderate to high heritability. ⺠Variants in about 40 candidate genes have been associated with muscular strength. ⺠Targets for intervention mainly focus on inhibiting MSTN. ⺠Resistance strength training is the natural choice of anti-myostatin treatment.
