Abstract
⺠Renal dysfunction after CABG is associated with higher morbidity and mortality. ⺠Very few interventions have been shown to mitigate renal dysfunction after CABG. ⺠Fenoldopam infusion and avoidance of recent contrast injection may be beneficial. ⺠Excessively low intraoperative haemaglobin may harm the kidneys. ⺠Adherence to basic principles of organ perfusion remain the best strategy.
